The card geeks monthly shop tournment.. i went on sunday
Got my self a 1st position using my futago deck, kinda of very lucky on that day, keep canceling damages.
A 3 W 1 L and then went for top 4
1L -> Lost to my friend.. lol a Fun deck (encore,draw deck).
3W -> 1W was Joel and Gerald's friend.. the 1 who uses nanoha deck..
2W was Joel (little buster deck)
3W was a regular player who uses Persona 3 and Persona 4 deck.

Went to Top 4
1st Battle -> Against Fate Stay Night (2W, 1L)
2nd Battle -> Against Shining Force (2W)

Anyways, the promo for the tournament was a Da Capo card! nice!

End of the day, bought myself 2 boxes of Sora wo Kakeru Shoujo/Mai HiME/Mai Otome Extra Pack Volume 1.. still lack of 5 foil cards for full collection.. but i made myself a hime deck =)

Just as i bored, i decided to watch Yugioh 5D.. then i accidentally stumbled across this information

Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Movie on Jan 23 2010 ! With all the three seasons combine to one original movie story! Damn sad i am not from japan, i keep missing out movies like The Great Kamen Rider War Movie, Kamen Rider Double and Decade Movie, The Disappearance of Haruhi Movie, Magical Lyrical Nanoha Movie...

So Happenin.!

Wow, didnt find my self to update so fast...

first thing first, Card geeks is hosting card tourney this month of December.

The card geeks monthly shop tourney on de 5th December (Saturday, Day A) and 6th December (Sunday, Day B).

Also, there will be a rapid culture Funan tourney on de 5th of December, followed by the Persona 4 Trial Deck Tourney and Persona 4 Title Cup on the rest of the month.

Sad part is that, i got duty on this saturday... what a waste... so, expect me to go on de sunday ;)

Another happenin news is that card geeks is opening 12:30 till 19:30 from Tuesdays to Sunday for the whole month of December. Wow, now i know where to go when i am free... =)

P.S. Even Though GVGNP is out... you will need version 5.50 D3 to play it.. rumors is that the new firmware will be up by 15 december.

Lots Of Stuff Happened

Cant really remember my wins and losses at AFA day a and c lol. =P

My birthday passed, thanks everyone for attending for my birthday party. And also, thanks de present, hope you enjoyed the food and the pool. (and pushing me in the pool as well for lots of times)

AFA went pass too... This year's AFA is much better than last year as this year's got quite a few events. Only part disappointed is the lack of Mio's seiyuu when the k-on! team came. After all, she is the most popular among the k-on! band.


Also, de president of Bushiroad and the seiyuus of Weiss Survive (Izumi Kitta -> Michi , and Nakamoto Nobuhisa -> Takeshi) came. Thus, i went to ask her to sign my michi card =).







and also, a few days ago , Mi and my friend went to the black tech to buy Sora wo Kakeru Shoujo/Mai HiME/Mai Otome Extra Pack Volume 2, cause i wanted 4 of this card as shown below








Good effect, Draw 2 cards, Put back any 2 cards from your hand to the deck, plus it is a level 1 cost 0 card. Its like plannin your destiny.













So we decided to buy 1 box by 1 box, de first box we open, there was de signed foil of imo-chan there. How nice! =), aspired me to get all 3 signed foils =O,






well after de 2nd box, i got 4 cards of 小川で遊ぼう! and 1 full set of collection excluding signed.

Counting down to 3rd decemeber, is the upcoming game for Gundam VS Gundam Next Plus+.

~ i Ma Still Alive ~

Being lazy to blog for the last few weeks, but... here am i.. posting a new post.
During these last weeks, i have been quite busy at week ends.

Firstly, I went to the card geeks and entered the newbie (Phantom Requiem Of The Phantom) Trial Deck Tournament at 17th october. Well, in the end, i got two win and a two losses.

Secondly, I also joined the second tournament at 24th october which is the phantom cup. This phantom cup tournament must have 50% character cards from the Trial deck.
I just entered in using my Trail deck, cause i did not have any spare cards on the trait (weapon) or (assassin), i did not buy any extra cards from Canaan or Fate/Stay Night or Disagea or even Phantom Booster itself... cause i do not want to get myself starting another series. (I will only collect Haruhi and Lucky Star)

Still, i got two win and two losses.

First win, opponent did something wrong during his turn and caused him to lose.

First loss, i totally got owned by this very nice and imba card as shown as below.

Awesome auto ability of when you have 6 or more climax cards in your waiting room, this card is minus 1 level, thus making it a level 2 attack 10000 points.
Plus when it enters to play, you also get to heal 1 damage.
Insanely, none of my characters reached 10000 points in the trial deck.

Second win was pure luck... from what i can say.. Pure Luck.

Second Loss. It was totally one sided around the later part of the match. The opponent summoned his huge characters which was all over 10000 points... well as i have mentioned, i do not have any cards more than 10000... so i lost.

Basically, that is the gist of what happened to me during the last few weeks.
I also did spam a lot of games in my ds and my psp
For instance, Naruto Legends: Akatsuki, (which i complete in 2 days time.. found it okay.. average.. ), GTA Chinatown Wars, Macross Ultimate Frontier, Obscure: The Aftermath, Yugioh Tag Force 4.

Tomorrow And Sunday i will be going for de AFA day A and C.

Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor

Finally, I am back at home. Today, I am going to review about this game called Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor. This game is quite old and the sole reason I am going to review it because of its interesting plot, plus this game has the same game maker as "The World Shall End With Me"

This game took place in Tokyo. With you as the main character and two other person, Atsuro and Yuzu, were meeting up with Naoya (Main Character's Cousin) . This is where the lockdown of the Tokyo occurred. Naoya too, passed them devices which which in the later known as COMPS (Communication Players). These COMPS will become devil summoning devices, and also gives the people around COMPS to have the ability to fight with demons. But first of all, you must defeat the first demon that come out of the COMPS in order the control the demon.

During the lockdown, demons were spawned all over Tokyo and your objective is to survive and to found out the truth about the lockdown, which was planned by someone to trap an organization. As the days progress, you select how the story progress. Like for instance, skipping the time till the main story occurs or spend time talking to other characters to advance with their plot. Like for instance, saving keisuke from kaido... =)

I think there are 5 paths, Amane, Atsuro, Gin/Haru, Naoya, Yuzu. So far, I only completed Amane's ending, which is become the Messiah and save the world. Guess i would replay the game and try for a Naoya ending (Evil) =)

This game has a Battle System and Grid Square System.













There is a maximum of 4 teams, each team consits of one human and two demon. (As shown on the right)
Each character and each demon has skills slots, three command skills, three passive skills and for humans one auto skill slot and for demon it is one racial skills.
You can choose and adjust the skills for the humans but for the demons you need to wait for a certain bar to reach the max then the demon can learn new command skills from your skill lists. In order to gain skills, you must skill crack demons.
Like for instance Demon A has this skill called Prayer that heals to the max hp and cures all aliments to a team. So in order to let Yuzu learn it, I set this skill to be skill cracked under Yuzu before the start of the battle. Once the battle commence, I use Yuzu to finish off the demon A and i willl have the skill Prayer in my skill list. BUT if any character other then Yuzu like Atsuro kills demon A, the skill will not be learned.




Stats
STR = Strength = Physical Damage
MA = Magic = Magic Damage and Max MP
VIT = Life = Defence and Max HP
AGI = Agility = Movement Speed and Turn Speed

Only the main character which is you has stats that can be assigned. Other characters such as Yuzu will assign their stats automatically.
For me i build my character in the following way. As soon as i started the game i added all my stats to strength until it hit 40. 40 is the maximum you can add to. The reason why i did this is that i plan to assign my magics and spells and revives on to the rest of the teams. That did not work quite well around the last day as majority of the demons near the last few days gets physical drain or anti physical. BUT the final boss doesn't have it =) After adding to strength, i start to add to agi to around 20 until i can use this skill ATTACK ALL, which allows me to attack the whole team instead of one. After adding agi, i added VIT for a bit of defence.

For skill setup, i choose dia and any 2 command skills. Command skills doesn't matter to me as i only use pure brute strength. Attack ALL, Pierce, Ares Aid as my passive skills. These three skills are very important is that, attack all can attack the whole team, Ares aid boost my critical rate for 50% and Pierce does 100% to enemies even if they have Anti Physical.

For team skill, i choose between tailwind and hustle. Around the later part of the game, i got rage soul and it boosts your attack by two times.

The last final boss for Amane path was horror to me =/. You will get the change to fight all the bosses again, and my characters all ran out of mana when fighting the final boss. I left my main character and Yuzu standing. Since my main character is physical build, he just keeps wacking the boss and dies. Yuzu would keep reviving him. The lucky part is that this boss keeps changing its form of element, and the 2nd time it changes its form of element, it will be physically weak. And this is where my main character finishes it off within 1 turn.

After that, get to enjoy the ending scene.

Too bad… I don’t have an idol master deck =(

Considering that idol master is that popular and they have their translations up so fast for both of their trial deck and booster pack.. I might start to collect idol master =)

And Their Monthly Tournament is conducted on Fridays..
